Overnight newborn care - starting at 2 weeks of age The Newborn Dream Team is, without question, the best night nanny option in the metroplex. My wife and I are both meticulous, data driven people. We did our research and completed interviews with a number of the different service providers. Abbey, Bonnie, and team were by far our top choice. They are warm, focused, and attentive. They listened to our concerns and questions and responded with thoughtful suggestions/programs. It is SO clear this is their passion. They not only want to make sure each family gets a little help/rest for a night, but are also excited to help each family reach their specific goals. My wife and I needed to be back at work in 3 months, so it was critical that our little one was sleeping through the night by then as best he could. BUT we also did not want it to be a traumatic experience for him (no crying all night please!). We made our goals clear from the beginning, and did our best to follow all their directions. One and a half weeks before he was 3 months old he was sleeping through the night! Bonnie is 100% Aunt Bonnie at our house, and love that she is still available for questions and sharing updates! - George Chevaillier and Rita Tohme
Overnight newborn care - virtual support/consulting at 4 months I cannot say enough kind words about this group of women. I also cannot give enough "Thank You's." I reached out for their assistance with my second born as I had PPD with my firstborn and wanted to mitigate some of the issues right off the bat (e.g., sleeplessness, breastfeeding troubles, colic, etc.). These women helped me with all of that plus more. They were knowledgeable, kind, patient, and just an overall comfort. I love them all and recommend them to help you and your little ones. Bonnie and Abbey, you ladies are rockstars! - Desiree Tennison
Overnight Newborn Care - "If you are on the fence about hiring a night nanny to help with your newborn...do it! And be sure to hire Abbey and Bonnie! I was not so sure we could afford it, or if it would be weird having someone else in the house to care for our son while we were sleeping, but it was worth every penny, and Abbey and Bonnie were so professional and knowledgeable, they immediately put us at ease. We had no family in the area to help us after our son was born, and I had to go back to work just a few weeks later, so getting sleep was critical...and because of Abbey and Bonnie, we were able to manage. I am so incredibly grateful for their help.
As first-time parents, there were many things we had no clue about...and both Abbey and Bonnie were wonderful resources for us. I felt like we could ask them anything and they would give us great advice (without being judgmental, which was appreciated). They helped us navigate cloth diapering, bottle feeding and formula, swaddling...everything. Best of all, Abbey helped us with sleep training, and by the time he was 3 months old, our son was (for the most part) sleeping through the night...and he has been a reliable sleeper ever since.
I honestly don't know what we would have done without Abbey and Bonnie. They helped us through a wonderful and challenging time in our lives. I highly recommend them." - Caroline Krejci
TWINS - Night nanny - overnight care - Sleep Learning at 11 months of age "Bonnie and Abbey are absolute life savers! With my twins coming early they jumped in, met all of my family, helped me pump, held babies, made energy snacks, and truly Bonnie became my therapist there for awhile. These women provide support for new mothers where there is very little postpartum care. They will snuggle and take care of your babies in your space so you can at least try to get some sleep at night. We did sleep training around 11 months and I was fully prepared to drink wine for breakfast and it was the easiest transition. Can’t recommend enough!" Rebecca Bristow
Postpartum doula - Newborn Care Specialist - "Abbey is amazing! My mother passed away two weeks before our baby boy was born. It was a tumultuous yet joyous time to say the least. We also had latch issues from the start with a lip and tongue tie and Abbey attended our appointments, helped with relearning to latch after revision and is the SOLE reason I am still breastfeeding over 6 months later. She kept me fed and SANE! She was a confidant, a friend and a helper. There was never a dumb question (even for a second time mom) and I learned everything from how to babywear a newborn to why breastfeeding hurts so darn much initially. She helped with our newest addition and our toddler as needed so that our family could transition from 3 to 4 with as few bumps in the road as possible. She stayed with us overnight the first night which was the best idea we could have had. There are days as a new mom (especially in my circumstance) when you just need to cry and fall apart...and Abbey was there to help pick me back up and give me the support I needed to take a deep breath and keep going. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Abbey for almost 6 weeks and privileged to call her a forever friend of our family! " -Lesley T
Artificial nipple aversion - Frequent night waking - unsustainable sleep associations - Age 3 months "Bonnie, is a magician. Our 3 month old refused to take the bottle and was waking up to nurse every hour at night. In just 1 week, she is sleep trained/learned, gets fed just once at night, and can take the bottle happily. We are so incredibly lucky to have had them in this difficult journey!" - Dr. Laila Malani Mohammad
Overnight newborn care "Bonnie was a life and sanity-saver in April 2020 through December 2020. Grandparents were all staying mostly away through the beginning of the pandemic, so all my newborn care plans were thrown into pandemic-disaster-land. My husband was working at the hospital and I thought I could handle a newborn on my own. Boy was I wrong; everything I learned in med school about babies and their care was NOTHING compared with what Bonnie taught us about caring for our son. Thank you sooooo much!" - Dr. Kira Haydon
60 hour sleep training intensive - 5 months old "Let me just say that our experience with Bonnie was exceptional. We had tried to find a sleep consultant that would help with our 5 month old. We were told by several companies that they could give us material to help but we should be able to correct her sleep ourselves. I was so exhausted (emotionally and physically) because our daughter was refusing to sleep unless someone was holding her (her sleep got extremely messed up after she had RSV and double ear infection). we needed help and were not finding anyone. Finally we were told about Under the Moon and honestly they were a godsend. Abbey responded right away and got us in contact with Bonnie. Bonnie is honestly like our own version of Mary Poppins. She worked her magic on our baby girl. She made us feel so comfortable with her methods. In two days our baby was sleeping well and after our last day of consulting we felt confident and had a 5 month old who was finally able to sleep. Happy baby and happy parents! Bonnie was able to troubleshoot any issues we had and made herself available to help my mom (who takes care of our daughter while I'm working) to make sure we were all on the same page. I cannot speak more highly of Bonnie, even our 2.5 year old son asks us when his new friend Bonnie is coming back over. We were not aware of Under the Moon during our pregnancy but sure wish we had known about them and all of the wonderful services they provide during our pregnancy. Bonnie you were our lifesaver!" Stephanie Cain
Overnight care - Sleep Consulting - unsustainable sleep associations - 3 months old Had a great experience with Abbey and Bonnie! Not only did they help us catch up on some seriously needed sleep, but they helped our son get on track with sleeping. He was hooked on his SnuggleMe mattress and swaddle, and sleeping (or not sleeping) in a bassinet next to our bed when they started with us, and by the time we were done working with them he was sleeping in his own room in his crib without a swaddle and with way fewer night wakings! We felt very comfortable straight off the bat with having them in our home at night and leaving our precious restless boy in their care, to the point that we had better days when we knew they'd be helping out that night. If we had it in the budget, we'd keep the night visits going indefinitely, but at least we were able to buy enough time that we feel more confident and prepared to go at it alone now. Thanks for everything, ladies! - Laura H.

60 hour sleep learning intensive - 7 months old "Before we hired Under the Moon, our son was not sleeping for more than a couple of hours at a time. We would wake up angry, and the only consolation was nursing and holding. It had been like this for seven months and simply was not sustainable anymore. We all needed more sleep, especially Bennett, who was barely clocking 8 hours total with all of his “naps” from night to morning, even with sleeping in our bed, and daytime naps were spotty. But after Bonnie came into the picture, everything changed! We did the 3-day sleep intensive and our son is sleeping 11+ hours at night and takes two solid naps each day. We couldn’t be more grateful. Bonnie is absolutely amazing and was such a joy to have in our home - I actually miss having her! She was a huge help during the day and night, in addition to the sleep, so that my husband and I were able to enjoy a couple of dates! We 100% recommend Under the Moon!" - Amanda Polk
Postpartum Doula - Newborn Care Specialist "Abbey was amazing! She helped us at a much needed time of desperation. We were having feeding issues and were exhausted from lack of sleep. She helped me nurse, learn to swaddle my baby, allowed me to get some rest while she cared for the baby. She helped clean up the house. She also helped me realize that I had a spinal headache which required medical attention. I would have not realize that without her guidance. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect because I had never had a postpartum doula, but she did such an amazing job and I am thankful that we knew her and she was available to help us at a very short notice. " -Colleen Ishee
Postpartum Doula - Newborn Care Specialist "I would highly recommend Fort Worth Doulas for their doula services. We hired them for our first pregnancy in 2016. My husband is in the medical profession and we were working with a great group of midwives, but it was still worth it to have a doula. Abbey was so supportive throughout the entire labor and delivery process, from pain management during my contractions, to moving me into different positions once I had my epidural, and helping with encouragement and positions through the pushing process. She did not judge any of our decisions, but offered so much support and help for whatever we wanted. We also signed up for postpartum daytime sessions. These were as much help (if not more!) as having a doula in labor. After the sessions, I felt as relaxed as if I'd just been at a spa. Being able to take a guilt-free nap, and wake up to a cooked meal or folded laundry, and a fed/sleeping baby was so great, and helped me keep my sanity. Hiring a doula is an investment, but definitely worth the money if you can afford it! We would absolutely hire Fort Worth Doulas again if we have more children!" Lucy Ives
