Getting a good night's sleep is not only essential for adults,
it plays a key role in cognition and physical growth for your baby that may last a lifetime.
At around 10 - 12 weeks of age, infants begin to establish a circadian rhythm.
We are more than happy to step in and help your whole family get back on track with a sleep learning intensive.
Studies show that:
Sleep plays a key role in early development
Central nervous system structure maturation depends on the regulation of the sleep/wake cycle.
Similar to adults, better sleep benefits memory and language learning.
Sleep efficiency and longer periods of night time sleep were significantly associated with better cognitive problem-solving skills
Infants who woke more at night performed poorer in memory generalization tasks.
Because sleep plays a role in energy balance and the regulation of the hormones - melatonin, cortisol, leptin, ghrelin, insulin like growth factor -1, prolactin and growth hormone,
Quantity and quality of sleep can cause weight gain or stunt growth and impair hormone release.
Children age 6 months to 2 years who slept less than 12 hours a day were at increased risk of higher BMI (body mass index), skinfold thickness and were at higher risk for obesity.
On the other end of the spectrum, stunting was also associated with shorter night sleep duration,
more night waking and shorter naps.

Your baby needs sleep, every bit as much as you.
Every skill is acquired through practice.
We do not utilize the "cry it out" method of sleep training. You do not need to hire a specialist to shut the door to the nursery and walk out.
Every skill your baby learns takes practice. Sleeping is no different. When a baby learns to crawl, they struggle, they roll and squirm, they get up on their knees and begin to scoot. They get frustrated and sometimes they get stuck and cry. When a baby learns to walk, they fall down. They cry. They get back up and they try again. Instead of limiting your baby's efforts to crawl and walk, you encourage them and praise them when they try. You support them in their efforts. You comfort them.
Our method of sleep learning is compassionate and caring. We are there to reassure your baby that they are safe and loved.
Learning to connect sleep cycles can be challenging - and that's why you're here! We are confident that we can help your family.

60 hour sleep learning intensive - 7 months old
"Before we hired Under the Moon, our son was not sleeping for more than a couple of hours at a time. We would wake up angry, and the only consolation was nursing and holding. It had been like this for seven months and simply was not sustainable anymore. We all needed more sleep, especially Bennett, who was barely clocking 8 hours total with all of his “naps” from night to morning, even with sleeping in our bed, and daytime naps were spotty. But after Bonnie came into the picture, everything changed! We did the 3-day sleep intensive and our son is sleeping 11+ hours at night and takes two solid naps each day. We couldn’t be more grateful. Bonnie is absolutely amazing and was such a joy to have in our home - I actually miss having her! She was a huge help during the day and night, in addition to the sleep, so that my husband and I were able to enjoy a couple of dates! We 100% recommend the sleep learning intensive!" - Amanda Polk

60 hour sleep training intensive - 5 months old
"Let me just say that our experience with Bonnie was exceptional. We had tried to find a sleep consultant that would help with our 5 month old. We were told by several companies that they could give us material to help but we should be able to correct her sleep ourselves. I was so exhausted (emotionally and physically) because our daughter was refusing to sleep unless someone was holding her (her sleep got extremely messed up after she had RSV and double ear infection). we needed help and were not finding anyone. Finally we were told about Under the Moon and honestly they were a godsend. Abbey responded right away and got us in contact with Bonnie. Bonnie is honestly like our own version of Mary Poppins. She worked her magic on our baby girl. She made us feel so comfortable with her methods. In two days our baby was sleeping well and after our last day of consulting we felt confident and had a 5 month old who was finally able to sleep. Happy baby and happy parents! Bonnie was able to troubleshoot any issues we had and made herself available to help my mom (who takes care of our daughter while I'm working) to make sure we were all on the same page. I cannot speak more highly of Bonnie, even our 2.5 year old son asks us when his new friend Bonnie is coming back over. We were not aware of Under the Moon during our pregnancy but sure wish we had known about them and all of the wonderful services they provide during our pregnancy. Bonnie you were our lifesaver!"
