Shannon grew up with many younger cousins which fostered a passion for childcare very early on. After getting certified in child and infant CPR at age 12, she started frequently babysitting and served as activity director in her church nursery for five years, which covered about 30 kids ages 0-4 weekly. At 18 she had her first official nanny position with twin boys and was with them from 5 weeks-14 months. She is now 27 and for the past 6 years has focused exclusively on infant care. She has had an array of different experiences with all types of families. Helping these families grow together, loving on little ones, and watching them achieve milestones is the most rewarding thing she has ever done! She has experience with preemies and children with medical issues and is always open to learning! On her off time she enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, and spending time with her husband of one year and their three dogs.
